Shakibul Islam
Architectural Designer
Navigating the boundaries between academia and professional practice, Shakibul Islam, known as Shaki, is a dedicated student of the built environment. With experience in the design, documentation, and project management of residential enlargements, renovations, and multi-family new developments, Shaki brings a wealth of insights through a BIM-driven, collaborative approach that blends best practices with quality design.
A deep understanding of the nuts-and-bolts of construction fuels Shaki's work, but his interests extend beyond the physical to the geopolitical factors that shape our world. He’s an avid analyst of how history, film, and economics influence the built environment. A fan of nostalgic 80s Brat Pack films like Ferris Bueller’s Day Off and 90s action-packed blockbusters like Terminator 2, Shaki’s diverse passions inform his dynamic approach to design.
